His 292 passing yards were the fourth-most for a Sun Devil in their first-career start in program history (Rudy Carpenter, 401; Sam Keller, 370; Steven Threet, 339; Dillon Sterling-Cole, 302).

Aiyuk’s two-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter was his first TD catch from less than 30 yards this season.
- Entering today’s game, All five of his touchdown receptions in 2019 had been for more than 30 yards (77 yards vs. Kent State, 53 yards vs. Colorado, 40 yards vs. WSU, 86 yards vs. WSU, 33 yards vs. WSU)

Second-Half Adjustments

The Sun Devils entered the game 26th nationally in allowing 10.3 second half points per game against FBS opponents and limited the Trojans to just three points on Saturday after USC erupted for 28 points in the first quarter.
ASU was 14th nationally and second in the Pac-12 in allowing only 4.3 fourth quarter points per game and improved upon that by shutting out the Trojans in the final frame.
