TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State University football program is hosting the Sun Devil Spring Coaching Clinic April 4-5, 2014. The coaching clinic is a two-day session that provides an inside look into Sun Devil football and the Pac-12 South Championship coaching staff.
The first session on Friday, April 4, runs all day with registration starting at 8:00 a.m. on the first floor of the Carson Center. Events for Saturday, April 5, begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:15 p.m.
Friday’s session kicks off with an introduction from Pac-12 Coach of the Year, Todd Graham. Guest speakers for Friday’s coaching clinic include the following high school and junior college coaches:
Jason Mohns – Head Football Coach, Saguaro HS, Div. III AZ State Champions
Sean Brevaire (Off. Coord.) – Salpointe HS, Div. II AZ State Champions
Norris Vaughn – Head Football Coach, Mountain Pointe HS, Div. I AZ State Champions
Tom Westerberg – Head Football Coach, Allen (Tex.) HS, 3x 5A Div. I TX State Champions
Kenny Sanchez (Def. Coord.) – Bishop Gorman (Nev.) HS, 5x Div. I NV State Champions
Alonzo Carter – Head Football Coach, Contra Costa College
Saturday’s session begins with a scrimmage in Sun Devil Stadium from 9-11:15 a.m. and concludes with an on field demonstration of individual drills by the ASU coaching staff from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
