Arizona State: Earned his first All-America honor by placing seventh at the NCAA Indoor Championships...ranks second on the all-time lists at ASU in both the indoor pole vault (17-08.50) and second on the outdoor lists (17-4.50)... 2005 Outdoor: Moved into second on the all-time ASU lists at 17-4.50 (5.30m) to finish second at the Pac-10 Championships...won the Double Dual and was runner-up in the three other meets he cleared a height... 2005 Indoor: Earned All-America honors in pole vault with seventh-place finish at the national meet...his clearance at the NCAA meet of 5.40m (17-8.50) ranks as the second-highest in school history...won the Double Dual and the Mountain `T' Invitational...cleared 17 feet in three meets and was over five meters in six meets entered... 2004 Outdoor: Placed 10th at both the Pac-10 and NCAA West Region Championship meets...won his first two collegiate meets (Baldy Castillo and ASU Invites)... 2004 Indoor: Cleared 5.20m (17-00.75) in all five meets he competed...recorded a personal best mark of 17-06.50 (5.35m) to finish second at the Mountain T Invitational...his 5.35m clearance is the second-highest in school history, trailing only Olympic gold medalist Nick Hysong.
High School: A 2003 graduate of Westview High School (Avondale, Ariz.)...won the 2003 Junior Olympic National meet...his personal best of 16-8.75 is the Southwest region record and ranks No. 2 all-time in Arizona history...was ranked in the Top 10 in the nation...set the mark at the 2003 Great Southwest Classic, which he won...finished runner-up at the state championships...won the state title as a junior...three time Southwest region champion (2001, 2002 and 2003)...lettered in track and field and swimming four times...also lettered three times in soccer...captained the track team as a senior and the swim team as a junior.
