ASU Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at Mercedes-Benz Championship

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona State Sun Devils shot a 10-over par 298 in the final round of Mercedes-Benz Women's Championship in Knoxville, Tennessee to finish in sixth, shooting rounds of 321-302-298--921 for the tournament. Duke University won the tournament shooting a 35-over par 899 for the tournament. Rounding out the top five were Louisiana State (909), Georgia (909), Tulsa (914) and Furman (916).
Leading the Devils individually was junior Keri Cornelius who shot a six-over 78 today. Cornelius (76-74-78--228) tied for 13th overall. Senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil shot an two-over par 74 and tied for 15th (80-75-74--229). Senior Kellee Booth also shot a one-over par 73 to move into a tie for 17th (84-74-73--231). Freshman Grace Park shot a one-over par 73 in the final round and tied for 28th (82-79-73--234).
