HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Los Alamitos (Calif.) High School…a PrepStar All-American who was listed as the No. 11 defensive lineman in the West…member of the Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Dream Team…one of the top defensive linemen on the West Coast…named Co-Most Valuable Player of the Sunset League…made the Los Angeles Times’ all-star team…transferred from Artesia High School to Los Alamitos last year…named to the second-team All-CIF Southern Section football team by the Southern California Interscholastic Football Coaches Association…tallied 39 solo tackles, nine quarterback sacks and seven tackles for losses…also caused two fumbles and recovered two fumbles as a senior…registered nine quarterback sacks and 15 tackles as a junior…forced two fumbles and recovered one…Los Alamitos reached the Division I semifinals…had a solid junior season and followed it up with an impressive showing at the Nike Camp in San Diego where he was one of the top linemen in attendance…has excellent pass rushing skills and very good athleticism…was clocked in 4.43 in the shuttle and jumped 28 inches in the vertical…rated the No. 13 defensive end on the West Coast by Greg Biggins…"I've been a Sun Devil fan for awhile before high school. I like their style of play, and I like that they let their defensive ends get after the quarterback. That's my specialty"…played in the CaliFlorida Bowl January 2 at El Camino JC with fellow Sun Devil Terry Richardson…runs a 4.23 shuttle…also participated in track and field…played for coach John Barnes at Los Alamitos.
