HIGH SCHOOL: A 1997 graduate of Western High School, Las Vegas, Nev.... member of the USA Today all-state team as well as being runner-up for the state's Most Valuable Player... was listed on the all-Southern Nevada (defensive) team as well as all-Sunset Conference and Western's Most Valuable Defensive player... earned honorable mention all-Sunset Conference as a junior and was the Western High team MVP as a junior and senior... holds the Western high record for most tackles in a game (18, 13 solos, five assists) and had two interceptions, seven solos and eight assists in the zone championship game... returned an interception 110 yards for a touchdown as a freshman at Western... coached by Calvin January.
