2006: Started seven of the season's first eight games at guard before suffering a season-ending injury at Washington on Oct. 28...was also held out of action at No. 21 California on Sept. 23 due to injury...started the season's first three games at right guard and started his final four games out of position at right tackle after starter Andrew Carnahan suffered a season-ending injury...was a leader among an Sun Devil offensive line that only allowed one sack per game in each of the season's first three contests...helped ASU achieve its greatest rushing output of the season (237 yards) at No. 21 California...blocked for quarterback Rudy Carpenter who threw for 337 yards and a season-high five touchdown passes against Nevada on Sept. 9...his protection helped enable Carpenter to record three of his top four passing yardage performances of the season during the year's first three games...was named a Third-Team Preseason All-Pac-10 selection by Athlon Sports...earned Hard Hat Player recognition for his work in the team's winter strength and conditioning program.
2005: Started 11 games...contributed to an offense that finished first in the Pac-10 and third in the nation in passing yards per game (373.4 avg.), second in the Pac-10 and third in the nation in scoring offense (36.8 avg.)...was recognized as a Hard Hat Player for his work in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program for the second time in his career.
2004: Played in all 12 games, starting the final 11 contests at left guard...was awarded the Mike Bartholomew Most Improved Offensive Player at the year-end team banquet...contributed to a passing offense that led the Pac-10 and ranked fifth in the nation at 317.3 yards per game.
2003: Played in four games...was a back-up on an offensive line that finished third in the league by giving up only 25 sacks.
2002: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Canyon del Oro High School in Tucson, Ariz.... a member of the Tacoma News-Tribune's "Western 100" list (the Top 100 players on the West Coast)...earned two votes in the Long Beach Press-Telegram's "Best In The West" poll...preseason and postseason All-American by SuperPrep Magazine...rated as the No. 5 player in the state by SuperPrep in the postseason...rated as SuperPrep's No. 7 player in the state of Arizona in the preseason...also listed as the 20th-best offensive lineman in the nation by SuperPrep...PrepStar All-American and rated as the No. 7 offensive lineman in the West...earned first-team All-Arizona accolades...member of the Super All-State 2001 Team by Phoenix Metro Magazine...started both ways for the last two years...played in Phoenix as a sophomore...played tackle on both sides of the football...vertical jump is 30 inches...also participated in track and field...played for coach Pat Nugent at Canyon del Oro High School.
