ASU: ASU: Made transition from cornerback to safety in 2003...played well after missing most of 2002 with an injury...lined up in the new Devil linebacker position in the 4-3 alignment this spring...was a co-winner of the Clyde B. Smith Award for academic achievement...was recognized as a Hard Hat Player for his work in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program for the third time in his career.

2001: Played in all 11 games as a true freshman, starting seven...recorded 40 tackles with 30 solo efforts...one tackle for loss of one yard against Stanford...tied for team lead with two interceptions...against Oregon had eight tackles, seven solo, and forced a fumble...had six tackles against each Washington State and Arizona...deflected two passes.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Agua Fria High School in Avondale, Ariz....listed as the No 39 recruit in the nation by Student Sports Magazine and the No. 3 cornerback by the same publication...earned six votes from the Long Beach Press-Telegram's "Best In The West" poll...a 2000 preseason All-American by SuperPrep Magazine...preseason All-American by PrepStar Magazine...listed as the No. 3 defensive back in the West by PrepStar...member of the Super 30 All-Western Region by the same publication...played in the National All-Star East/West game (one of two Arizonans to play in the contest)...member of the Super All-State 2000 Team on defense...the first player in the class of 2001 to commit to ASU...tallied 126 tackles as a senior and rushed for 1,100 yards...led the team in tackles as a freshman and sophomore...had 128 tackles as a sophomore...collected over 50 tackles and had four interceptions as a junior...also rushed for nearly 1,500 yards in his first season as a running back as a junior...runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and ran a 10.6 second 100-meter dash during track and field season as a junior.
