ASU: Walk-on who enters his fifth year in the Sun Devil program...moved to tight end in the spring after spending the previous four years as a defensive lineman.

2008: Did not see game action...earned Hard Hat player recognition for his work in ASU's offseason strength and conditioning program, finishing in the top three in overall points.

2007: Did not see game action, serving as a member of ASU's scout team for the season.

2006: Did not see game action, spending the season as a member of ASU's scout team...earned Hard Hat Payer recognition for his work in the team's offseason strength and conditioning program.

2005: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Nogales (Ariz.) High School...lettered three times in football and twice in wrestling...was named Nogales' Lineman of the Year in 2004...earned honorable-mention all-conference honors in wrestling in 2003...averaged eight tackles per game...captained his football team one season and his wrestling squad twice...honor roll student...was coached by Robert Bonillas in football and Vince Villanucci

PERSONAL: Exploratory major...is contemplating a career as a strength coach...parents are Leo (works for the Nogales Parks and Recreation Dept.) and Catalina (bus driver) Montt in Rio Rico, Ariz....has a brother, Max, and a sister, Anna... his uncle, Francisco Osuna, played baseball at Chapingo College in Mexico City, Mexico...born in December 1986 in Nogales, Ariz....full name is Leo Andres Montt.
