ASU: Tall, versatile target who improved steadily during his Sun Devil career...totaled 1,853 yards on 131 receptions (14.1 avg.) with 17 touchdown catches over his career...played in 49 games and started 33 in his career, including every game during his junior and senior seasons...excellent leaper with remarkable speed...also spent three seasons on ASU's baseball team...while playing for the Sun Devil baseball team, he recorded the final out in ASU's 8-5 victory over Arizona to clinch the 2007 Pac-10 Conference Championship in May...was selected by the New York Yankees in the 29th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft.

2008: Started all 12 games...led the team with 61 receptions for 744 yards (12.2 avg.) on the season...tied for the team lead with four touchdown catches...was named Second-Team All-Pac-10...had two 100-yard receiving games...caught four or more passes in eight of the team's 12 games this season, and had six of more receptions six times...one of two Sun Devils to catch a pass in every game, along with Chris McGaha, and the only player with multiple receptions in each game...opened the season with a career-high 162 yards on six catches in win over Northern Arizona on Aug. 30...also had his longest reception of the season in that game, a 52-yard catch in the third quarter...posted six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown catch in victory over Stanford on Sept. 6...led the team with seven catches for 70 yards against No. 3 Georgia on Sept. 20...had six catches for 50 yards and a touchdown against Oregon on Oct. 25...caught 11 passes for 146 yards and two second-half touchdowns that brought ASU back from a three-point deficit in a win at Washington on Nov. 8...recorded six catches for 43 yards in win over UCLA on Nov. 28.

2007: Started all 13 games...led the Sun Devils with 10 touchdown catches...was second on the team with 46 catches and 769 receiving yards (16.7 avg.)...led the nation in reception-to-touchdown ratio among players with at least 45 receptions...earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors...had three games of more than 100 yards receiving and three games in which he scored two touchdowns...had four catches for 63 yards and a touchdown in the team's season-opening win over San Jose State on Sept. 1...caught six passes for 96 yards, including two touchdowns, to help the Sun Devils rally from an early 14-point deficit to defeat Colorado on Sept. 8...had his second two-touchdown game and first 100-yard receiving game of the season in victory over Oregon State on Sept. 22, catching four passes for 124 yards and two scores in the comeback win...also had 64-yard reception in the win over the Beavers, ASU's longest pass play of the season...had four catches for 121 yards and a touchdown against Oregon on Nov. 3...made a diving catch on a 20-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for what proved to be the game-winning score in the Sun Devils' win over Arizona on Dec. 1...closed out the season with eight catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns in Pacific Life Holiday Bowl against Texas.

2006: Played in 13 games, starting eight...led all Sun Devil wide receivers with 20 catches for 318 yards (15.9 avg.) and three touchdown catches...caught three passes for 48 yards and a diving, 20-yard touchdown reception, the first scoring reception of his career, against Nevada on Sept. 9...hauled in three passes for 37 yards at Colorado on Sept. 16...totaled three receptions for 28 yards at No. 21 California on Sept. 23...added an 18-yard reception at No. 3 USC on Oct. 14 and a 23-yard catch against Stanford on Oct. 21...made a career-high, 50-yard touchdown reception against Washington State on Nov. 11...caught a 26-yard pass at Arizona on Nov. 25...closed out the season in impressive fashion, leading ASU with career-bests of five catches for 72 yards, including a four-yard touchdown catch against Hawai'i in the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl on Dec. 24...was one of the stars of the ASU's spring game, catching seven passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns...earned Hard Hat Player recognition for his efforts in the team's winter strength and conditioning program.

2005: Played in 11 games as a redshirt freshman...caught four passes for 22 yards...most of his offensive production came at Washington State, collecting three receptions for 16 yards...also had a six-yard reception in his ASU debut in the season opener against Temple...greatly impressed his coaches throughout the season, resulting in a gradual increase in playing time.

2004: Redshirted as a member of the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Fort Bend Austin High School in Sugar Land, Texas...versatile athlete who quarterbacked his team as a senior...threw for 1,997 yards and 17 touchdowns...also rushed for 684 yards and five more touchdowns...was the starting quarterback for the Texas High School All-Star game the summer after his senior year...also listed as the No. 36 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 95 player in the state of Texas by Rivals.com...listed as the No. 88 player in the state of Texas by SuperPrep Magazine...a member of the Houston Chronicle's Top 100 list...was a first-team all-district selection and team MVP as a senior...finished second in the league in passing yards as a senior...started his first game as a 14-year-old sophomore...runs the 40 in 4.45 seconds and sports a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump...earned three letters in football and two in baseball...was his team's starting centerfielder...led his team in stolen bases as a junior...coached by Tom Stuart.

PERSONAL: Earned his degree (B.I.S., interdisciplinary studies) in May of 2008...parents are Earnest (electrician) and Sandra (geo science specialist) Jones of Sugar Land, Texas...has a half-brother, Anthony, and a half-sister, LaKisha...was his school's Homecoming King as a senior...member of the all-academic team...volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston and Bo's Place, an organization for children who have lost loved ones...lists PlayStation 2 as one of his hobbies...born Sept. 9, 1986 in Humsle, Texas...full name is Michael Anthony Jones.
