ASU: Junior college transfer who saw significant playing time on the defensive line in his two seasons in Tempe...was the runner-up to Hard Hat Champion Drew Hodgdon for his work in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program in 2004...was in the Hard Hat top 10 the winter before.
2004: Played in 11 games and started in two...tallied a career-high 19 tackles with 11 solo stops on the year...tied for the team high with two quarterback hurries...had both of those QBH's in ASU's Sun Bowl win over Purdue...had a season-high three tackles three times...also forced a fumble and recorded half a sack Dec. 31 against the Boilermakers.
2003: Played in all 12 games...recorded 12 tackles on the year (eight unassisted)...also had 2.5 tackles for a loss and 0.5 sacks...had a half-sack and a pass breakup Sept. 27 at Oregon State...recovered a fumble against USC on Oct. 4...had a quarterback hurry Nov. 15 at Washington State...enrolled at ASU in the spring of 2003 and participated in spring workouts.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A 2003 graduate of Moorpark (Calif.) College....listed in PrepStar's Top 125 junior college players in the nation...a unanimous selection to the All-Western States Conference team...made third-team All-American by JC Grid-Wire... rated three stars from Rivals...was first-team Commission On Athletics (COA) All-American in 2002...made first-team all-WS Conference as a unanimous selection...also made first-team all-state...was an academic All-America candidate...posted 36 solos tackles, 48 assists, 14 tackles for losses, 7.5 quarterback sacks, one forced fumble, two pass breakups and 43 hurries last year...coached at Moorpark by Jim Bittner.
