ASU: Proved to be a valuable addition to the Sun Devil secondary last year and will play an important role in 2000.

1999: Recipient of the Babe Alex Demon Award for his hard work on special teams ... named to the Pac-10 all-Academic Team ... was second on the team in tackles with 76 ... started seven of the Sun Devils' 12 games ... tallied three solo tackles and two assists in first career Division I game against Texas Tech ... snagged first career interception at Cal ... had one of his strongest games in ASU's 28-7 win over the Huskies as he posted 10 tackles (one TFL) despite playing with an injured shoulder ... aided the Sun Devil's defense in ASU's 33-21 win at Washington State with an eight-tackle effort ... had 10 tackles and a batted ball against Oregon ... led ASU with a career-high 11 tackles against Wake Forest in the Aloha Bowl.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: A 1998 graduate of Shasta Community College in Redding, Calif. … earned first-team all-California Community College All-American honors on defense in 1998 … also earned first-team all-state accolades on defense … played defensive back, wide receiver and kick returner at Shasta … earned first-team all-Nor-Cal Conference honors in 1997 and in 1998 … earned all-region and all-state accolades in 1998 as well … served as team captain and was the defensive captain in 1998 … won defensive Most Valuable Player accolades in 1998 … was named as the outstanding defensive back at Shasta … finished second in punt returns in the California Community College Conference with a 24.3 yards-per-return average … coached by Leon Donahue.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 1996 graduate of Anderson Union High School in Anderson, Calif.… lettered twice in baseball and wrestling and three times in football… named to the first team all-conference 1993-95 and all-conference Most Valuable Player in 1994 and 1995.
