ASU: Massive, young lineman who has been greatly impressive during the early portion of his Sun Devil career...has played in 19 career games, making one start, in two seasons...is expected to be the starting right tackle in 2008...is the only player on the team to have played in a college game as an offensive tackle, as the Sun Devils must replace their top three offensive tackles from last season.
2007: Played in 10 games, including the final nine games of the season...was one of ASU's top reserve offensive tackles through most of the Pac-10 season, backing up seniors Zach Krula, Julius Orieukwu and Brandon Rodd...helped block for an ASU rushing attack that had three players surpass 500 yards each on the season...played in Oct. 13 game against Washington, in which the Sun Devils rushed for a season-high 296 yards.
2006: Saw action in nine games as a redshirt freshman, with one start...got the starting nod at left tackle in replacement of injured Brandon Rodd at rival Arizona...in that game, he helped anchor an offensive line which did not allow a quarterback sack, while paving the way for 221 rushing yards and 429 yards of total offense against the Wildcats...became one of ASU's most reliable reserves at offensive tackle when a season-ending injury to starter Andrew Carnahan created openings at the two tackle positions.
2005: Redshirted as a member of ASU's scout team.

PERSONAL: Undecided on his major...father is Hardine Tuitu'u (retired) of Mesa, Ariz....mother is the late Silva Tuitu'u...has three siblings, Valu, Hola and Saane...is of Tongan heritage...lists receiving his scholarship to play at ASU as his most exciting sports experience...enjoys weight lifting...born in March of 1987 in Phoenix...full name is Richard Sosaia Tuitu'u.
