Varsity "A" and Fiesta Bowl to Host Tailgate
TEMPE, Ariz. - The Varsity "A" Association, in sponsorship with the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, will host a pre-game tailgate party prior to the Arizona State University/University of Arizona game on Nov. 28, Athletic Director Kevin White announced.
The ASU Letterwinner's Club invite the letterwinners from Arizona to join them for the tailgate, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Sun Devil Club Plaza
In addition to the tailgate, the Varsity "A" Association, as in years past, will also provide a meal for the visiting Arizona marching band.
"We are of the hope that this tailgate will help enhance a competitive, yet healthy rivalry," said White. "While the game will always be an intense competition, it is hoped that the fans will enjoy the event and atmosphere and leave with a positive experience."
"The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl has always been a tremendous supporter of Arizona State University and the University of Arizona," says Fiesta Bowl President Charles P. Thompson. "Our sponsorship of this event is a small way for us to give a little extra back to the student-athletes who did so much for their universities."
"We hope both sides enjoy the rivalry on November 28 and we look forward to another great game in the series," says White.
