ASU Defeats Oregon In Three Games
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Senior outside hitter Terri Cox had a match-high 11 kills as Arizona State defeated Oregon 3-0 tonight in a Pac-10 matchup at the University Activity Center. Game scores were 15-12, 15-11, 15-1.
"It feels great to win in three games," head coach Patti Snyder-Park said. "It's nice to come out after intermission and completely dominate. I am very proud that we could close the door and win the match."
Freshman outside hitter Amanda Burbridge added ten kills, hitting .667 (10-0-15), while senior middle blocker Kirstin Mattson added four block assists for the Sun Devils.
The Duck's Madeline Ernst contributed seven kills in a losing effort. Oregon falls to 7-12, 0-8 in the conference.
Arizona State (12-7, 3-5 Pac-10) will host Oregon State at 7 p.m. in the University Activity Center tomorrow night.
