SUMMER OF 2003: Shot a 4-over 148 (74-74) on July 21-22 at the 2003 Arizona Amateur at Moon Valley Country Club and tied for 59th in stroke play...defeated Mike Brenneman (5 and 4) and Paul Stratton (7 and 5) before falling to Steven Hakes (3 and 2) in Arizona Amateur match play...tied for 14th at the 2003 Falcon Amateur by NOVA Home Loans on July 10-11 held at Falcon Dunes golf Club in Waddell, Ariz., with a 4-under 140 (67-73)...tied for 12th at 88th Southwestern Amateur held at ASU's Karsten Golf Course in June of 2003 with a 10-under 278 (69-69-73-67).
2002-2003: Played in eight tournaments, tied for fourth on the team, and had a 74.65 stroke average in 26 rounds...tied for 28th at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate with a 2-over 218 (68-76-74)...shot a 7-under 65 in the second round of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational and finished at 7-under 209 (T-17th)...played in the final eight tournaments on the year after not competing in the fall.
SUMMER OF 2002: Finished sixth in the President's Flight at the 2002 Western Amateur held at Yuma Golf and Country Club on June 1-2 with a 2-under 142 (69-73)...qualified for match play at the 2002 Arizona Amateur after shooting a 7-over 151 but lost his first match to eventual champion Ken Kellaney, 4 and 2.
2001-2002: Earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic honors...played in three tournaments and had a 77.56 stroke average...best round was a 74 at the Long Cove Invitational in the third and final round on Nov. 11...played at the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate, the Long Cove Invitational and the Ping/Arizona Intercollegiate.
SUMMER OF 2001: Shot a 1-under 143 (72-71) to finished tied for fifth in the President's Flight at the 2001 Western Arizona Amateur at the Yuma Golf and Country Club on June 2-3...qualified for the 2001 U.S. Amateur and shot a 157 (74-83) in Atlanta on Aug. 20-21.
RED MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL: Earned 2A all-region and all-state honors in 1996 and 1997...a 5A all-region and all-state pick in 1998 and 1999...MVP of 2A in 1996 and 1997 and of 5A in 1999...East Valley Player of the Year in 1999...academic all-state pick for four years (1996-99)...the 2A state champ as a freshman and the regional champ and state runner-up in sophomore year...won 5A regional championship in junior year and tied for sixth at the state tournament...runner-up in 5A regional and finished in third in state championship in senior year...team won the state 5A title in senior year...earned four letters in golf.
