OFF THE TEE: Local product from Mountain Pointe High School who entered college with 102 tournament victories, three holes-in-ones and bevy of honors and records at Arizona courses. Once posted eight straight birdies at Talking Stick South (August of 2002 with a 7-seven under 64) and posted 11 birdies in one round en route to a course record 10-under 62 at Tempe's Ken McDonald Golf Course in September of 2005. Also set the course record with a 4-under 68 at the Guangzhou (China) Dragon Lake Golf Club. Lost 2006 5A state title on fifth playoff hole in November of 2006. The fourth two-time winner of the Trusted Choice Big I Junior Classic as he took first place honors in 2005 at Purdue University's Kampen Course in August which included a 66 in the second round and a 69 in the final round and then won 2006 honors at Odessa Country Club's Old Course, with a tournament-best of 17-under par.

PREP AND JUNIOR CAREER: Won seven straight JGAA, SMJGT and Southwest Section PGA junior tournaments in 2003...took home first-place honors in high school at the 5A super regional, sectional championship and state championship qualifier in October of 2004 but did not go to state championship because his team did not qualify...medalist honors at 2005 Mohave High School Invitational, Tempe City Tournament and 2005 super regional, sectional championships and state championship qualifiers....traveled to 2005 state title but injury led to ninth place finish...won first-place state champion junior golf age division titles at 10-and-under, 11-12 and 13-14 and finished third in the 15-18 range twice.
