AT ASU
Earned his B.S. in marketing in May of 2005 and competed in 47 events in four-year career...improved his stroke average by a full stroke from the previous year in each of his first three seasons and then by nearly a half stroke between from to junior and senior season...local product from Mesa who became the second youngest player to win the Arizona Amateur when he won the title on July 21, 2001...only Bob Goldwater, Sr., as a 16-year old in 1926, was younger than the 18-year old Mueller...was the fifth straight Arizona Amateur champion to come from the college ranks.

2004-05
Tied for second on the team in events (13) and was third with a 72.78 stroke average...had four top-20 finishes...earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic honors...tied for fourth at the National Invitational in Tucson with 9-under 207 (69-72-66)...tied for third at the NCAA Ping Preview in Owings Mills, Md., with a 1-under 209 (67-71-71).

2003-2004
Third on the team in events (12) and stroke average (73.25)...had four top-20 finishes...earned second-team Pac-10 All-Academic honors...tied for 21st at the NCAA West Regional with a 3-over 219 (70-70-79)...tied for 14th at the Pac-10 Championship in Tucson with an 8-over 296...finished 11th at National Invitational Tournament in Tucson with a 2-under 214 (69-72-73)...best tournament was a tie for sixth at UNLV Championship with a 5-under 211 (71-68-72).

SUMMER OF 2003
Shot a 9-under 135 (67-68) on July 21-22 at the 2003 Arizona Amateur at Moon Valley Country Club to finish tied for second in stroke play...in Arizona Amateur match play, he won three matches before falling in the quarterfinals...beat Gregg Dennis(6 and 5), Bryan Hoops (1 up), Brent Wilde (3 and 2) before falling to Jason Rudquist (4 and 3) in the quarterfinals...overall champion of the 2003 Falcon Amateur by NOVA Home Loans on July 10-11 held at Falcon Dunes golf Club in Waddell, Ariz., with a 12-under 132 (67-65)...tied ASU's then-Karsten Golf Course record with a second round 62 at the 88th Southwestern Amateur in June of 2003...62 matched 2000 U.S. Amateur champion Jeff Quinney's score from April of 1999...finished tied for eighth at Southwestern with a 13-under 275 (71-62-70-72).

2002-2003
Earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic honors...played in 11 tournaments, second on the team to Chez Reavie's 13, and had a 74.40 stroke average with two top-10 finishes...led team with a seventh-place finish at Duke Invitational on Oct. 21-22, 2002, with a 1-over 217 (77-69-71)...tied for tenth at the PING/Arizona Intercollegiate with a 3-under 210 (72-68-70)... shot a 2-under 214 at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational...qualified for the 2002 Arizona Amateur but lost in the first round of match play...also qualified for stroke play championship at the 2002 U.S. Amateur but did not qualify for match play

2001-2002
Competed in 11 tournaments and had a 75.74 stroke average...best outing was at the ASU Thunderbird/SAVANE Invitational when he tied for 14th with a 6-under 210 (69-70-71) on April 12-13...also posted a 69 in the second round of the USC Cleveland Classic on March 4...one of only two Sun Devils (Brady Stockton was the other) to play in all 11 collegiate events for ASU.

ABOUT THE 2001 ARIZONA AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
Mueller defeated two-time U.S. Mid-Amateur Bob Munoz, 47, of Phoenix 3 and 1 to win the 77th Arizona Amateur on July 21 at Oro Valley's Stone Canyon Club. He hit a 6-foot birdie putt on the first hole, a 25-foot par saving putt on the second hole and a 12-foot birdie putt on the third hole to get the lead for good. He qualified with a 1-over 73 and then beat Dale Faulkner of Tucson 3 and 2 in the round of 64. Steve Dallas of Gilbert (3 and 2) and Arizona golf coach Rick LaRose (5 and 4) to move to the round of 16. Mueller then edged Kipp Riehle of Phoenix 1-up in the quarterfinals and beat 38-year old Tucson resident Armen Dirtadian before meeting Munoz.

GREAT SUMMER OF 2001
Also won the Boys Championship Division of the Kingman Junior City Championships with a three-stroke victory on June 15 with a 4-under 140...won the Western Arizona Amateur on June 2-3 at the Yuma Golf and Country Club with a 5-under 139 (69-70) with a long putt on the final hole for his first AGA victory...lost in a playoff a the JGAA Willie Low Invitational at Phoenix Country Club on June 4 after shooting a 2-under 69 in the Boys 15-18 bracket...finished tied for sixth with ASU teammate Brady Stockton with a 2-over 286 (72-73-74-67) at the Southwestern Amateur at SunRidge Canyon Golf Course in Fountain Hills, Ariz., on June 5-8.

RED MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL
Helped his high school win three state 5A titles in four years...the 2000 Arizona Golf Association Division Player of the Year...earned four letters in golf...coached by David John...an all-city pick for three seasons and captain of team in senior year.
