OFF THE TEE: Earned honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic honors in 2002…from the same hometown and high school as former Sun Devil and 2000 U.S. Amateur Champion Jeff Quinney…lists home course as Eugene Country Club…lowest score was a 66 at Persimmon Country Club in April of 2000…an excellent student athlete….redshirted in his freshman season (2000-2001) and is expected to challenge for a regular spot this season…competed in the 2002 ASU Thunderbird/SAVANE Invitational last year in only appearance.

SOUTH EUGENE HIGH SCHOOL: Won two tournaments in his senior season, the Trysting Tree and Persimmon High School tournaments…finished third at PNGA Qualifier…tied for 14th at 2000 Oregon Amateur…fifth at 2000 high school championships…second at 2000 4A District Championship…won the 1999 USGA Jr. Amateur Sectional…finished third at IJGT Crosswater and third at District Championship…took home four first-place finishes at OGA junior events…played golf for four years and also competed in football and swimming.
