Arizona State - 2005-06: Saw limited action in his true-freshman campaign, going 8-8 on the year...went 4-5 in duals...finished fifth in the Pac-10 Championships at 141 and won the true-fourth-place bout...won his collegiate debut with an 11-0 major decision...started the season 3-0...over the summer, competed in the 2006 FILA Junior World Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala, placing 10th in the 66kg (145.5) Greco-Roman competition.

High School: A graduate of Oviedo High School in Orlando, Fla....completed his prep career at a perfect 196-0...won 130 of his bouts by fall...won four conference, district, regional and state crowns...also earned academic all-state accolades four times and was named to the 2005 National High School Academic First Team...selected to the honorable mention Asics All-America honors...holds school records for falls in a season, falls in a career, tournament championships and consecutive victories...captained the wrestling team all four years of school...was teammates with current Sun Devils David Green and Kenny Lester.
