High School: A graduate of Franklin Community High School (Franklin, Ind.)...ran for Doug Drenth, brother of former ASU cross country coach Walt Drenth, and lettered four times each in cross country and track...captured the 2001 state cross country title...earned team most valuable runner honors in cross country (1998-01) and track (2001-02)...cross country honors also include all-conference (1998-01), all-county (1998-01), all-state (1999-01) and second team all-Midwest in 2001...track accolades include all-conference (2001-02), all-county (2000-02) and all-state (2001-02)...also holds two school record times.
