2008 XC: Redshirted... ran in two races unattached from the program... placed 22nd at the Mesa Thunderbird Invitational and 33rd at the Dave Murray Invitational.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Desert Vista High School (Phoenix)... lettered in track & field and cross country four times each and once in swimming... captained the cross country team as a senior... placed third in the 2006 region race before taking 11th at the state meet... named the team's MVP in 2006... earned the Joe Sellah Award (for leadership and character) as a senior... also was a four-time academic honoree.
