WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Jon joined the team last fall as a walk-on and was a solid practice player. He lettered four years in high school, as he played at James Island High School up until his senior year and then played at James Island Christian in his senior season.

PREP CAREER: Played in the South Carolina Independent Schools Association (SCISA)…averaged 23 points, eight rebounds and six assists in senior season at James Island Christian…posted 38 points once and twice had 35…in his senior season, his team was down by 15 at the start of the fourth quarter but he scored 17 in the final period to lead them to a win…once scored 10 points in final two minutes to beat rival high school…was the SCISA AA Player of the Year in senior year…captain of basketball team in senior year.
