SUN DEVIL DATA: Solid Arizona prep southpaw who is a non-scholarship player and posted a 4.25 grade point average in high school while being coached by Todd Fazio. A good three-point shooter as he hit 91 in 26 games (3.5 per game) and shot 47 percent from behind the arc, with all those numbers school records.
DESERT MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL: Led Desert Mountain to the 5A state playoffs in senior year...averaged 18.4 points, 3.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds in senior year as team went 15-11...2008-09 Desert Valley All-Region first-team pick along with teammate Demetrius Walker and also earned all-city honors...posted 13 games of at least 20 points and had six games of at least 25...scored 37 points against Walker's St. Mary's squad and had 23 first-half points against Highland High School, the state runner-up...averaged 20.5 points, 3.9 assists, 4.1 boards and 1.6 steals in senior year "power ranking" games and shot 83.6 percent from the free throw line.
ETC.: Born June 22, 1991, in East Brunswick, N.J....has an older brother (Justin) and an older sister (Renee)...played saxophone in middle and high school bands.
