Arizona State University Statement from Director of Athletics Dr. Kevin White
"As we have stated in the past, ASU officials have not been able to comment on the ongoing FBI investigation regarding the 1993-94 ASU Men's Basketball team. New media reports have surfaced today regarding the investigation. Because the investigation is not complete, we remain unable to comment. We would like to reiterate, however, that the FBI informed ASU as late as today, that no former or current University employees are targets of this investigation. As we have stated, ASU does not condone sports gambling and continues to cooperate fully with the FBI. As previously reported by Phoenix media outlets, ASU has and continues to educate its student-athletes and employees on issues related to gambling."
