Player Bio: Katie Davis

Katie Davis, one of top players in first years of the Arizona State University water polo program, returns to the team in 2006, this time serving as the team's manager. Davis will assist the coaching staff with practices and other administrative duties during the season.

Davis competed for the Sun Devils in the 2003 and 2004 seasons following her transfer from Riverside Community College. She put together her best season as a senior in 2004 when she tallied 49 goals, 16 assists and 65 points while adding 89 steals to become the program's first All-American.

Historically, Davis is the career leader in goals scored with 89 and steals with 188. She also set the standard for steals in a season when she recorded 101 in 2003. Davis also stands second all-time in points with 125 and fifth in career assists with 36.

A native of Riverside, Calif., Davis earned her degree in communication from ASU in 2004.
