ASU: One of ASU's top performers in over a half-dozen events, making her ASU's most versatile swimmer ... expected to again be a major contributor at NCAA's.
1999: Won a bronze medal in the 400 IM (4:50.41) at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in August ... earned honorable mention All-American status with her ninth place finish in the 400 IM (4:16.07) at the NCAA's. That time was the second best ever in ASU history ... member of 400 medley relay team that set a new school record (3:44.01) ... Swam the third-best time in school history in the 200 IM (2:02.45) ... also cracked the ASU all-time Top 10 list with her times in the 100, 200 and 500 free ... A Second Team Pac-10 All-Academic selection.
1998: Earned All-America honors, finishing 11th in the 400 IM (4:17.54) at the NCAA Championships ... carded the team's best times in the 1000 free (9:59.55), 1650 free (16:44.08), 200 IM (2:02.55), 100 breast (1:05.08) and 400 IM (4:17.54) ... displayed great versatility, recording the team's second-best times in the 100 free (51.27), 200 free (1:49.28) and 500 free (4:52.82) ... earned Academic All-America and Honorable Mention Pac-10 All-Academic recognition.
1997: All-America selection in the 400 IM, finishing 10th (4:16.52) at the NCAA Championships ... finished third in the 400 IM (4:17.11) at the Pac-10 Championships ... recorded the team's best times in the 200 IM (2:04.05) and the 400 IM (4:16.52) ... third-fastest team time in the 100 free (51.53) and second-fastest time in the 200 free (1:50.79) and 500 free (4:51.20) ... recorded top-five times in the 100 fly (57.46) and 200 fly (2:05.98).
High School: A 1996 graduate of Bolles Prepatory Academy, Jacksonville, Fla. ... two-time letterwinner in swimming ... also swam for the Bolles Sharks Swim Club ... named All-American in 1995-96 ... swam the 400 IM for Suriname in the 1996 Olympics ...
