Baseball Bloodlines: Teamed with his brother Riccio in the Sun Devil infield, the fifth set of brothers to suit up for the Devils at the same time. Raoul and Riccio became the first set of brothers to start alongside one another in school history.
2010 (Senior): Along with Kole Calhoun and Josh Spence, served as co-captain...Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 choice...wrapped up one of the most successful careers in school history with a degree from Arizona State University...appeared in 53 games, starting 51 at third base...hit .268 (51-190) with three homers and 45 RBI, including a grand slam against Cal Poly at Surprise Stadium...finished his four year career with a 201-52 record, including three trips to the College World Series and four Pac-10 titles...selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 21st round (631st overall) of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft.
2009 (Junior): Along with Mike Leake, served as team's co-captain...was an honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection...appeared in 59 games, starting 54 at third base...hit .250 (45-180) with one homer and 26 RBI...was third on the team and tied for eighth in the Pac-10 with 15 stolen bases...one of only two players in Arizona State history (Mike Leake) to win three straight Pac-10 titles.
2008 (Sophomore): Was an All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention...batted .341 in 59 games, starting 54...had two homers and 35 RBI...drew 20 walks and stole 12 bases...had the game winning hit in extra innings at Cal State Fullerton on April 23...played for the Fairbanks Goldpanners of the Alaskan League over the summer.
2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 38 games, starting four...a key reserve of Pat Murphy's bench...had 10 hits and eight RBI in limited at bats...played for the Liberal BeeJays of the JayHawk League over the summer.
MLB Draft: Was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 32nd round (981st overall) of the 2009 MLB Draft.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, Ariz....a three-year letterman at Brophy...help lead the team to three straight Desert Valley Region championships and the 2006 State Championship...hit .480 his senior year with eight home runs...also recorded seven saves...was twice named All-Region...earned All-State honors as a senior...was named the MVP following his senior year...was a 5A All-Star and a Super 50 game...played summer ball for the Arizona Firebirds, winning the Connie Mack World Series.
