2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in 56 games, making 21 starts...hit two homers and knocked in 15 runs in only 58 at bats...was used primarily as a late inning defensive replacement.

2006 (Freshman): Hit .319 (52-163) while seeing action in 49 games at LSU...scored 21 runs and had 16 RBI...stole six bases...played mostly in center.

High School: A three-time First Team All-State, All-Houston and All-District selection...earned four varsity letters in baseball and three in basketball...member of the USA Baseball Youth National Olympic gold medal team in 2003...collected four hits, scored twice and stole a base in the United States' 11-7 victory over Taiwan in the championship game...competed in the 2005 High School All-American Baseball Game in Albuquerque, N.M....hit .415 with 83 runs scored and 53 stolen bases during his high school career.
