Seniors Shine Against Arizona Wildcats, Earn 4-3 Win

It was all smiles for the No. 22 Arizona State Sun Devils on Senior Day against the University of Arizona. All three seniors, Jacqueline Cako, Hannah James and Nicole Smith were able to earn wins attributing to the 4-3 win.

No. 21 Sun Devils Fall in Conference Play to Stanford 6-1

Strong efforts in singles play were not enough to lift No. 21 ASU over No. 13 Stanford on Saturday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz. Sun Devil freshman Ebony Panoho was the only player able to earn a win for ASU, bringing her total to 7 wins of the last 9 matches.

Sun Devils Drop Match to California, 6-1

In the first match of a two match weekend, the No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils fell to the No. 11 Golden Bears of California by a score of 6-1.

After falling in two Pac-12 matches last weekend, the No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils women's tennis team looks to recoup with wins against No. 11 California and No. 13 Stanford.

2011-12:
• Earned All-American honors for the second-straight season.
• Named to the USTA Collegiate Team.
• Earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors.
• Advanced to the finals of the ITA All-American Championships and earning runner-up honors after a hard-fought three-set battle against Florida's Allie Will.
• Finished the season ranked 25th in the nation.

2010-11: • Named an NCAA All-American for earning a top-16 seed in the NCAA Singles tournament.
• Became the first freshman women's tennis player at Arizona State to earn All-America honors since Allison Bradshaw accomplished the feat in 1999.
• Had an outstanding freshman season, going 24-5 in overall singles play, with an 18-match win streak.
• Paired up with Michelle Brycki or Micaela Hein in doubles to go 16-7 overall.
• Advanced to Round of 16 in NCAA Singles Championships before falling to #23 Mari Andersson of California.
• Was ranked as high as 11th in ITA Rankings throughout the season.
