High School: A 2007 graduate of Gregory-Portland High School (Portland, Texas)... lettered in track & field four times and three times each in both cross country and swimming & diving... captained both the cross country and track & field teams... three sport star for the Wildcats as she was named all-state in cross country, swimming & diving and track & field in the same year as a junior and senior... the Corpus Christi Caller Times twice named her its Athlete of the Year... also selected the South Texas Runner of the Year twice... 2007 state champion in the 1,600m run after taking second in 2006... two-time regional champion in the 800m and 1,600m runs... qualified for the state meet on eight occasions... member of the third place 4x800m relay at the USA Championships... has achieved national elite times in the 800m and the mile.
