Wake Forest: Graduated from Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, N.C.) with a B.A. in Psychology in June 2009... competed on the cross country and track & field teams for four years... earned All-ACC honors in cross country in 2008... also selected the ACC Runner of the Week in 2008.
High School: A 2005 graduate of West Islip High School (West Islip, N.Y.)... lettered in indoor track four times and three times each in both cross country and outdoor track... captained all three teams as a senior... finalist at the 2003 Foot Locker Cross Country Championships... took second place in the indoor mile at the 2004 national championships to earn All-America honors... two-time all-state honoree, including the indoor mile (2004) and the outdoor 1500m (2004)... holds WIHS school records on the track in all events from 1000m to 3000m.
