High School: Captured three state championships in the 1600m (2000, '01 and '02) and added a cross country title in 2001... established three individual school records (1500m, 1600m and 3200m) and contributed to a relay record (4x800m)...named the Tacoma News 2001-02 Athlete of the Year... garnered five Olympia Prep Athlete of the Week awards as well... won the 2001 Border Clash (Nike) with a course record.
