2010 Outdoor: Qualified for the final of the NCAA Outdoor Championships and placed 23rd overall in the 5,000m run... advanced to the national final by finishing in the Top 4 of his semifinal heat at the NCAA Preliminary Round (eighth overall) to earn an automatic berth... ran a personal-best time of 14:00.21 to finish fourth at the Mt. SAC Relays... also posted a time of 3:45.77 in the 1,500m run at the Sun Angel Track Classic for another life-time best... placed ninth in the 1,500m run at the Pac-10 Championships and also was 13th in the 5,000m run... 2010 Indoor: Did not compete... 2009 XC: Ran for the team in four races on the season, including all three of the championship events... placed 172nd in his first NCAA Division I Championship meet... placed 61st in the region and 39th in the Pac-10... opened the season unattached and placed 15th overall at the Dave Murray Invitational.
Western Oregon: Competed for two years at Western Oregon (Monmouth, Ore.) as a member of its track & field and cross country program... earned All-America honors in the 800m run at the 2009 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships by placing fifth overall... selected as the USTFCCCA Men's Indoor West Region Track Athlete of the Year for NCAA Division II... automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 800m and provisionally qualified in the mile and 5,000m runs... 2008 conference 1500m run champion... academic all-conference selection.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Corvallis High School (Corvallis, Ore.)... lettered twice each in cross country and swimming & diving and once in track & field... member over CHS's record 4x200m and 4x400m relays (2007)... collected four medals at the state swimming championships, including one state title.
