High School: A 2010 graduate of Sandra Day O'Connor High School (Phoenix)... lettered four times each in cross country and track & field... captained both teams as a junior and senior... helped team to three-consecutive state cross country team titles (2006-08)... team won the region championship all four years she ran (2006-09) and track won twice (2008-09)... individually, won the 2008 regional title in cross country... earned all-state honors in cross country three times (2006-08)... all-region selection four times (2006-09)... 2008 Region Runner of the Year in cross country... earned region all-academic honors in cross country (2008, 2009) and track & field (2010)... team also competed at the 2006 Nike Team Nationals in cross country... academically, selected as a National Merit finalist... graduated first in her class of 450... member of the National Honors Society and Society of Female Scholars... served as the senior class secretary.
