2007 Track: Redshirted... 2006 XC: Ran in four races on the season, one as an unattached athlete... opened the year unattached and placed ninth at the Dave Murray Invitational... traveled with the team to the Roy Griak Invitational where he was the fifth finisher for the team and placed 71st overall... also was fifth on the team at the NCAA Pre-National meet (194th overall)... finished 66th at the Pac-10 Championships.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Desert Vista High School (Phoenix)... lettered four times each in track & field and cross country for the Thunder... named school's student-athlete of the year as a sophomore, junior and senior... selected to the all-city, all-region and all-state cross country teams in 2003, 2004 and 2005... named East Valley Tribune Cross Country Athlete of the Year in 2005... cross country state champion in 2005... also won the state 3,200m run in 2005... All-American in cross country... captain of the cross country team as a senior.
