Arizona State: Returns to the Sun Devil program following a two-year mission to Thailand... 2006 Track: Redshirted... 2005 XC: Competed in two races... placed 18th at the Canyon West Classic after taking 39th at the ASU Invitational.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Mountain View High School (Mesa, Ariz.)... lettered in track & field and cross country three times each... captained both teams in his junior and senior years... Wendy's High School Heisman Award winner for the state of Arizona in 2004... earned all-state honors in cross country in 2003 and 2004... placed third in the state in 2004 while leading MVHS to its first state championship in cross country... outside of competition, earned several academic honors... was an AP Scholar and earned both the Pepsi Scholar-Athlete Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship... carried a 4.32 grade-point average in high school.
