WALNUT CREEK, Calif.—Four Arizona State women’s tennis players earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors, the conference announced Thursday.
Senior Sianna Simmons leads the way for the Sun Devils earning first-team Pac-12 All-Academic honors after graduating in May with a 3.65 GPA in Global Studies. This is Simmons first, first-team honor from the conference. The graduate was previously named to the second-team in 2011 and an honor mention selection in 2010.
Senior Michelle Brycki and sophomore Jacqueline Cako earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors. Brycki, the only athlete currently pursuing a journalism degree at Arizona State’s prestigious Walter Cronkite School for Journalism and Mass Communication, earned second team honors with a 3.52 GPA. Cako, a two-time NCAA All-American, earns her first conference nod with a 3.68 in biological science. Cako is also a member of the Barrett Honors College.
Junior Hannah James earned honorable mention honors from the conference.
