Eight Sun Devil Soccer Games to be Televised Live by Pac-12 Networks

TEMPE, Ariz. - Eight Arizona State University women's soccer games will be among 58 women's soccer matchups televised live by Pac-12 Networks, according to an announcement made by Pac-12 Enterprises on Monday.

Six of ASU's eight appearances on Pac-12 Networks will be home contests, including the Sun Devils' annual State Farm Territorial Cup Series matchup against Arizona in the regular-season finale on Fri., Nov. 2 (4 p.m. PT).

In its inaugural season, the Pac-12 Networks brings an unprecedented level of exposure to its acclaimed member institutions that have combined to collect a record 450 NCAA titles. The 58 televised Pac-12 women's soccer matchups are just a portion of 217 exciting events including football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's water polo, field hockey and cross country telecast over 100 days this fall, putting the Conference of Champions on a national stage.

ASU will make its debut on Pac-12 Networks on Sat., Sept. 23 (2 p.m. PT) when it travels to Palo Alto, Calif., to take on the defending national champion Stanford Cardinal.

The following week, ASU will have both of its games televised by Pac-12 Networks when it hosts USC (Fri., Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. PT) and UCLA (Mon., Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. PT).

Sun Devil Soccer will be featured four more times on Pac-12 Networks in the month of October, including its home games vs. California (Fri., Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. PT), vs. Utah (Thurs., Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. PT) and vs. Colorado (Sun., Oct. 28 at 4 p.m. PT) and its contest at Oregon State (Fri., Oct. 19 at 3:30 p.m. PT).

The Pac-12 Networks launch August 15 and will consist of one national and six regional networks devoted solely to the Pac-12. In addition to the hundreds of live televised Pac-12 sporting events, Pac-12 Networks subscribers will have access to their carrier's TV Everywhere platform, providing access to all Pac-12 Networks programming on any device through their broadband service. Under sixth-year head coach Kevin Boyd, who has led the Sun Devils to the NCAA Tournament two times in the last three seasons, ASU will open up its 2012 season on the road when it faces Cal State Northridge on Fri., Aug. 19 (7:30 p.m. PT). The Sun Devils will make their 2012 home debut on Fri., Sept. 7 (7 p.m. PT), when they take on Houston as part of the annual Sun Devil Desert Classic.
