Softball Lands Six on All-West Region Teams

Pac-12 Sits Down With Hillary Bach

STARKVILLE, Miss. –
Arizona State softball landed six on the 2012 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I All-West Region teams as announced by the association Thursday.

The all-region teams were chosen by NFCA member coaches from each of the 10 regions, and all the honorees will now be eligible for selection to one of three 202 NFCA Division I All-American teams.

Comprising the Sun Devils on the First Team are:
Hillary Bach | 1.68 ERA, 19-1 WL, 9 shutouts
Katelyn Boyd | .457 batting average, 70 runs, 69 hits, 19 home runs, 60 RBI, 19 stolen bases
Alix Johnson | .442 batting average, 53 hits, 10 home runs, 46 RBI
Elizabeth Caporuscio | .353 batting average, 54 hits, 15 home runs, 46 RBI 

Second Team members are:
Dallas Escobedo | 2.48 ERA, 20-4 WL, 4 saves, 179 strikeouts
Annie Lockwood | .331 batting average, 51 hits, 9 home runs, 49 RBI

Repeat honorees to the teams are:  Hillary Bach (2009), Katelyn Boyd (2011, 2010), Dallas Escobedo (2011) and Annie Lockwood (2011).
