Sun Devil men's golfer Spencer Fletcher is joining an impressive list of players who have earned their degrees at Arizona State.
Fletcher will earn his B.I.S. with concentrations in Business & Sociology next fall and participated in graduation ceremonies last weekend as well as the student-athlete graduation luncheon. He was part of an impressive list of Sun Devils honored last weekend.
Some recent degrees earned of notable men's golfers include 2003 NCAA champion Alejandro Canizares (B.I.S., Landscape Architecture/Sociology in 2006), 1995 NCAA champion Todd Demsey (B.A., Psychology in 1995), 1997 Golfstat Player of the Year Chris Hanell (B.S., Marketing in 1997), 2000 U.S. Amateur champion Jeff Quinney (B.S., Finance in 2002) and 2001 U.S. Public Links champion Chez Reavie (B.I.S., Political Science/Sociology in 2010).
Demsey on Monday qualified for the next PGA TOUR stop, the Byron Nelson Classic. He will be joining Phil Mickelson, Billy Mayfair, Pat Perez, Chez Reavie, Joey Snyder and Matt Jones at the event.
Three Sun Devils are playing in the Nationwide Tour event in South Carolina this weekend are Quinney, Jin Park and Brady Stockton.
