Jordan Clarke - ASU Video Feature
Ever wonder what life might be like competing for one of the Olympic sports as a Division I athlete at a power conference university? Well, Arizona State University track and field's Jordan Clarke is going to give you his firsthand insight into the life of a student-athlete in his weekly video blogs, chronicling the life of the 2011 NCAA Outdoor shot put champion's schooling, training, competing, social life and everything in between.
This blog will give you a look at some of the trials and tribulations of a Division I athlete, showing you everything from the shot put ring to the weight room to the classroom. Jordan will give everyone an idea of just what it takes to be successful at this level, and trust us, it isn't as easy as it might seem.
This week, Jordan discusses the NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend where he looks to earn his first NCAA All-America award indoors. Sit back and enjoy.
If you have any questions or comments for Jordan for future blog, feel free to e-mail them to Jeremy Hawkes (jdhawkes@asu.edu) and we'll be sure to give you a shout out in next week's blog.
