April 26, 2011

Herb Sendek and the Sun Devil men's basketball staff have announced that three newcomers will join the program this summer. Jonathan Gilling, Chris Colvin and Evan Gordon all have inked with ASU in the spring signing period. Gilling will be a freshman in 2011-12, Colvin a junior while Gordon will sit in 2011-12 per NCAA transfer rules after playing at Liberty his first two seasons.

"We are thrilled to have added these three players to our roster in the spring signing period," says Coach Sendek, the 2009-2010 Pac-10 Coach of the Year who has averaged nearly 19 wins per season in his 18 years as a head coach (340-233/.594). "Together with Jahii (Carson, a fall of 2010 signee), we are really looking forward to these newcomers helping our program. We feel we met improvement needs and strengthened our unit."
