TEMPE, Ariz.—Coming off back-to-back upset victories over two top-10 ranked opponents, the No. 21 Arizona State women’s tennis team (10-3) returns home to host UC Irvine and DePaul, Mar. 22-23 at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz.
The Sun Devils had previously defeated both No. 7 California and No. 9 USC in their last two matches and are looking to ride the momentum into the next two home matches.
Freshman Jacqueline Cako, who will look to defend her 16-match singles winning streak, jumped into the top-20 in the singles rankings to 16th. Cako was previously ranked 30th in the nation by ITA.
Senior Kelcy McKenna, battling in the No. 1 position for ASU, is currently ranked 17th overall in the nation according to ITA.
