TEMPE. Ariz. - The Arizona State University football team will face Big 12 opponent Missouri on Friday, September 9 at Sun Devil Stadium in a nationally televised game on ESPN. The game was moved to Friday from the original date of Saturday, September 10 to accommodate the national television audience of ESPN. It is the first time ASU has played football on a Friday night in September. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. local time. The ASU-Missouri football game will be the only televised game on Friday, September 9 in that time slot, giving ASU unequalled exposure on that date. A game featuring Louisville and Florida International will precede the ASU game on ESPN. Pacific-12 Conference Deputy Commissioner and COO Kevin Weiberg has spoken with the leadership of the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) about the date change to Friday night.
