Zack MacPhee and Seth Blair Named First Team All-Americans by Baseball America

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State junior RHP Seth Blair and sophomore 2B Zack MacPhee have been named First Team All-Americans by Baseball America, the publication announced today. Blair was named the 2010 Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year, while MacPhee was named the 2010 Pac-10 Player of the Year.

Blair (Rock Falls, Ill.) is 12-0 with a 3.35 ERA in 17 starts this season. He has struck out 104 batters in his 102 innings this season. He was named First Team All-Pac-10 and was a Second Team All-American according to Collegiate Baseball.

MacPhee (Phoenix, Ariz.) is hitting .394 this season with nine homers and a team-leading 64 RBI. He set a school record this year with his 14 triples, and he has also stolen 19 bases. This is the third First Team All-America honor for MacPhee in 2010, as he was also honored by Rivals.com and Collegiate Baseball.

The Sun Devils will make their 22nd appearance and second straight in the College World Series beginning Sunday at 4 p.m. Arizona time against Clemson.
