On the offense's execution:
"I thought our tempo was good. We ran 65 plays in the first half. I thought our execution wasn't very good. We dropped too many balls. We threw too many interceptions. [We gave up] too many sacks. You name it, we did it. Obviously we have to clean that stuff up. When you only score one touchdown in a 48 minute scrimmage, you have to be better than that."
On the play of the defensive backs:
"When you throw the football as many times as we throw it [the defensive backs are going to play well]. Our corners played well but I thought our safties played really well. They've done that all spring. They've emerged. They're playing the run good. I could be happier with [the defensive backs]."
Sophomore quarterback Brock Osweiler
On running the offense:
"My biggest thing was just move the football. A lot of times last year where it was three and outs, we didn't complete those little passes and we didn't run the ball well. My biggest thing was just move the football and help our offensive team get a touchdown or a field goal."
On the predictability of the offense:
"We have run the same offense since January. Three, four, five times a week against our defense. They know exactly what's about to come. There is no excuse for the turnovers we made but it would be nice to get into fall camp and play with them for a couple more weeks and then play a new team."
On the offenses' progress:
"Obviously we need to eliminate the turnovers if we're going to be the offense that we want to be. But those are easy clean up situations. We had a lot of guys out here getting a lot of reps, getting tired as the day goes on. So slowly timing became a little more off as we went. But I'm really happy. From where we started this spring and where we ended today, it was a great note for our offense."

On the offensive struggles:
"Obviously look to our defense. We have one of the best defenses in the country. I think they showed that today. They came out and played well against us. For me personally, too many mistakes. I threw three turnovers. We're not going to be able to move the ball consistently when there are that many mistakes. Those have to be taken care of, which they will. We just have to be more consistent and move the ball into the end zone."
On mistakes at quarterback:
"I need to stay on progression. I tried a little too much. I tried to force plays sometimes where I just dropped the ball off. It comes with time and staying with in the system."
On the play of the defense:
"We have a great defense. If we're successful against them, we'll be successful against a lot of people. They played great against us today. They got a lot of turnovers. They were stopping the run game and making it tough for us with the pass rush. We just need to get better offensively and more consistent."
