TEMPE, Ariz.-- Arizona State University's football team will welcome its newest member on Saturday, April 24 at the annual Spring Football Game, as Kyle Oden becomes a Sun Devil roster member. Kyle, who is three years old, was recently adopted by the team in conjunction with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.
The Sun Devil team will present Kyle with an authentic ASU football jersey with his name on the back, which will be hanging in his own official locker in the Sun Devil football locker room, complete with personalized nameplate at the top.
Kyle has a pediatric brain tumor and is almost blind in one eye. He is the son of Bennett and Brittney Oden. His father, Bennett, has the same type of tumor, which is called Neurofibromatosis (NF1).
