After a late night on the ball field, we were able to sleep in. When we woke up, lunch was ready for us, and we were hungry! Once done with lunch we went to get ready for practice, which we had again at UBA, the indoor baseball academy. There were a number of kids there wanting our autographs. Our practice schedule was one that is similar to a walk through for football players the day or two before a game. We stretched and got our arms loose, and then the hitters were hitting live and in the batting cages. A couple of the pitchers had had some mound work to do, which they were able to get done thanks to the nice facilities. The rest of the time the pitchers hit ground balls to each other and were having contests to see who would be the last person to not make an error. I was one of the last two in one of the games until my glove got caught on top of one of the batting cages. It took awhile to get down. I don't want to talk about how it got caught up there! We were able to go out to eat with our families for dinner, so I went with my Mom and Dad to Rick's Boatyard. It was a really good seafood and steak restaurant. They had the CWS game on, which was nice to be able to watch. Then I went back to my parent's hotel to watch the rest of the game. I wasn't able to watch the entire game there because we had a curfew and the game went into extras. We have a big game Thursday against UNC. We are ready to play hard and do whatever it takes. Wish us luck and catch us on ESPN2 at 6:00 CT. Go Devils!
