Three Sun Devils Earn All-American Honors From Collegiate Baseball

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State junior 1B/LHP Ike Davis was named a First Team All-American, while junior 3B Brett Wallace and sophomore RHP Mike Leake earned Second Team honors, Collegiate Baseball announced.

Davis (Scottsdale, Ariz.) earned First Team recognition thanks to his .378 batting average with 16 homers and 68 RBI. He also is 4-1 on the mound with four saves and 2.66 ERA in 13 appearances. This is the second straight year Davis has been named an All-American. He was also named First Team All-Pac-10 for the third straight year.

Wallace (Sonoma, Calif.) earned his second straight Pac-10 Player of the Year award and First Team All-Pac-10 selection. He was a consensus First Team All-American a year ago, and has improved his numbers this year, batting .412 with 20 homers and 78 RBI.

Leake (Fallbrook, Calif.) was named a Third Team All-American and Freshman All-American last season and was named this season's Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year. He is 9-2 with 94 strike outs and a 3.18 ERA.
